Any one know if this company has been put out of business yet? I know they closed their store in Wake Forest, NC and their website is like 2 months out of date. I think the store in Raleigh, NC is still there though.

Not exactly sure, but their ebay account is not around anymore. I can't access their website at the moment either. We'll see.

Halleluja! I worked there for a few months. Going in I had no idea of this companies reputation, but after a couple of weeks it was easy to see. So many people busted their A*!@ for that guy trying to get the company on the right track. He ripped off his employees just as bad as his customers! I like many never got my last pay check and was subjected to horrid working conditions. I tell you though, it was certainly an education! We walk into businesses all the time as consumers and we think we are protected. To a certain degree we are, but look how long he was able to rip people off until some legal agency stepped in and did something about it. I try to think of him and his shoddy company every time I walk into a business establishment. Thanks for posting that btw. I just hope the employees turned out ok. I know many of you hate the employees as well, but as someone with first hand experience we were suckered just as much as the consumer, if not more! Consumers lost a few games and maybe a hundred dollars or so. We employees came to work every day with an armed psycho micro managing our every move! Thankfully I landed another job, but many were stuck because the economy was doing poorly and they had children to feed! It was a bad situation, let me tell U! Oh well, certainly a life lesson! Take care everybody, and NEVER forget BuyriteVideoGames and what a company can get away with!

Another ex employee here. Someone at my current job mentioned to me that the Wake Forest store had closed, so I checked on the web to see if they went out of business completely and it looks like they have. About d**n time.
I feel badly for the employees who depended on their checks there and I hope they were able to find other jobs, but I can't beleive he managed to stay in business for so long the way he was blatantly ripping customers and his employees off.
I had to threaten legal action to get my last check, but I did get it, after three months...
With the economy in the crapper and obviously an ex job I couldn't use as a reference, it took me awhile to find something else, but I'm so much better off now and I hope the rest of the employees found the same.
In spite of posts bashing them, they were almost all really good, hard working, game loving people who did their best to make things better. But there is only so much you can do when you work for a psycho.
