No ad banners on the Message Boards

Hello all,
I looked into some free message boards without banner ads, but all the ones I saw contained banners. I can make this board banner free, but it will cost me $6.99 a month (84 bux a year). So unless anybody has an idea of how to make 7 dollars a month to support banner free message boards, give me some links to message board hosts that dont have banners and are FREE

Banners themselves aren't so bad, it's the banners that this site has that pop up right in the middle of the screen and cover what you're either typing or reading without an option to close them. As longs as the banner is anchored at the top of the page, that's fine.

Good point wally. Know of any messsage board hosts with less intrusive banner ads?

No option to close the banners? How come I never get those when I use this board? I use internet explorer and mozilla interchangeably, maybe something to do with my cookie settings? I have them on high security.

Might be because I use Opera. Never tried it with any other browser. I did notice that if you maximize the Opera window the banner gets anchored at the top though
