I placed my first order on a Saturday 7PM, and my second on Sunday 9PM.
It was after I processed my second order that I found this web site.
I became a bit suspicious when I noticed I did not get any order confirmation e-mail from them. So I found this site, and I'm im shock, truly upset. I decided to call my credit card company and tell them that I'm being charged by a fraudulent merchant. They said they cannot do anything. The only thing I could do was shut down the account and make a new one, which is not a possibility because I share this card with my parents as well and do automatic billing for many things. They told me that Buy Rite already charged me $170 for my first order *AT 7AM*, and I'm sure the second is to follow next morning. And from what I read here, their customer support number is nonexistent. Even if I somehow make contact with them on the phone (which I plan to do next morning at 9AM), they may have charged me already and they would give me that "sorry but once the order is in they cannot be cancelled" bullnuts.
So, what can I do?
Is there a solid number I can call them, and someone would pick it up guaranteed? Can I still cancel my order?
This is the first time I was ripped off on an online store. I'm usually very careful of online transactions. This one somehow alluded me... their web site looked kind of professional and up to date. They had good prices too, which I the reason why I placed my second order.
Argh.
The least I can do is think I just got ticketed for speeding for $280. That makes me feel better a bit...
